The SMX League and Monster Energy SMX World Championship broadcast team have secured three prestigious Telly Awards in the 2026 competition, recognising excellence in television and social media content production.
The 2026 Monster Energy SMX World Championship Preview Show and 2026 Monster Energy Supercross East Division Hype Video both earned Silver recognition in the Sports Television and Social Video categories at the 47th Annual Telly Awards. Meanwhile, SMX Insider Season 3 Episode 36 – World Championship Wrap-Up claimed Bronze in the Online Sports Content category.
The Telly Awards honour excellence in video and television across all platforms, with entries judged by leaders from major video platforms, television networks, streaming services, and production companies. This year’s competition featured over 13,000 entries from around the globe, with the SMX League competing alongside major sports organisations including the Baltimore Ravens, ESPN, Yahoo Sports, Philadelphia Flyers, and NHRA.

The award-winning Preview Show premiered on 27 December 2025 on NBC and Peacock, delivering fans comprehensive pre-season analysis featuring industry experts, media personalities, and racers. The production was led by Doug Cabrera, Director of Broadcast and Media Content, with contributions from hosts Leigh Diffey and Jason Weigandt, alongside a team of editors, camera operators, and writers.
The Silver-winning East Division Hype Video demonstrated the team’s ability to produce high-quality content under tight deadlines, with the piece conceptualised, filmed, and produced in under 24 hours. The social media content was spearheaded by Jenna Terrill, Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Thomas Manzello, Social & Digital Assistant Manager, and the team at CONVRG Media.
The Bronze-winning SMX Insider episode marked the show’s second Telly Award in three years. The weekly programme is produced by Chris Bond and features hosts Jason Thomas, Jason Weigandt, and Clinton Fowler providing in-depth analysis and behind-the-scenes coverage.
The Telly Awards Judging Council comprises over 250 video industry experts, including judges from Google, HBO, WNBA, and Netflix.
